COMPUTER TUNE-UP (fixed price - fixes most performance and malfunction problems):
* Update manufacturer supplied software (drivers, pre-loads) and microcode (including BIOS)
- dependent on manufacturer of computer and motherboard e.g. easiest if brand name like Dell, IBM, HP
* Update MS Windows and MS Office from Microsoft Update site
- client must have legitimate copy of Windows installed (i.e pass MS Genuine Validation test)
* Remove all viruses as identified by a complete anti-virus scan
- using either client’s supplied anti-virus program, or installing a free one (shareware)
* Remove all spyware/malware as identified by a complete spyware scan
- using either client’s supplied spyware program, or installing a free one (shareware)
* Perform regular maintenance on disk drive(s)
- check/repair errors, surface scan for bad sectors, defragmentation of disk drive if recommended
* Run profile of system before and after services
