Security Self Storage is one of the largest storage providers in the Triangle, with eight top rated self storage locations in the Raleigh – Durham- Chapel Hill area. We are a locally owned family business, doing self storage in the Triangle since 1993. We are not a national chain with out of state call centers and we do not use impersonal outside management companies. Our only business is self storage, U-Haul and Penske truck rental and selling boxes and moving supplies, so we can provide you with clean well maintained facilities, exceptional customer service and the most competitive rates. When you call us, you always talk directly to our store manager who can quickly and efficiently get you the storage, truck or supplies you need to make your move hassle free. Or use our on line reservation system any time, day or night. We accept U-Haul and Penske drop-offs from out of town movers so you can leave your truck with us after moving in. We also have a large inventory of outside parking spaces for your RV, boats, campers and trailers.
All of our storage facilities are designed to the most modern standards of convenience and security. We have wide lanes to accommodate tractor trailers, and all units are first floor access – no elevators in our facilities. Most of our larger units are directly accessed from the drive lane making them really convenient. Our climate controlled storage is designed to protect your valuable furniture, electronics and keepsakes from humidity and fluctuations in the Carolina weather year round. We are the only storage provider in the Triangle who offer Outside Access Climate Controlled Units. These heated and cooled units have a large insulated garage door and are directly accessed from the lane making moving of large furniture a breeze.
All access on the facility is monitored and restricted to authorized persons only. We have extensive security cameras recording activity, including infrared night vision. Your storage unit is accessible 24 hours a day / seven days a week using your personal gate code which is monitored and documented. Hallways have sensor activated lighting and all facilities are fenced and well lit, so you will feel comfortable day or night.
Commercial and small business customers will appreciate the large outside access units, 24 hour access and convenient locations. We have facilities located close to major highways entrances as well as strategic locations in Wake and Durham counties which are convenient distribution hubs for many of our clients. Locations include: Two Inside the beltway locations serving Raleigh and downtown, Knightdale serving western Wake, Hwy 42 and 40 serving Garner and Clayton, Holly Springs serving Fuquay-Varina and southwest Wake, Tryon Road serving Cary and Southwest Raleigh and two Durham locations serving RTP as well as Duke and Chapel Hill. Our outside parking is great for trailers and service vehicles.
